This Paris based brand of makeup, targeted towards women of color, is an upscale brand. It has been floating around Europe for 10 years and is now available in the U.S. The name of the product may need to be revised and probably will not change. If this is geared towards "Women of Color," it would and could mean all ethnicities (African America, African, Dominican, Puerto Rican, Brazilian, etc.). The founder of the brand, Lionel Durand, feels the name is not an issue. Although, he did face some obstacles with UK retailers. Lionel claims the name is based on the makeup, not skin color. Hmmmmmm....what do you think?

iknowfaces: Sun Protection is Essential

The heat is on, it is hot and unforgiving. The sun is not a respector of persons and does not seek to harm a select audience. So, basically, you need to protect yourself from head to toe. Be advised that it is best to use SPF 30. Yet, adding SPF 15 to SPF 30 will not give you SPF 45. Ugh! In any case, start today and keep it going!

This amazing lipglass received Allure's 2011 Reader's Choice award. This is a pink based gloss with high sheen. It can definitely be used as a base, alone or a top coat. It offers a golden sheen and works well with ALL complexions.
