Witnessed It!

I was there!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!! I witnessed the Inauguration of the 1st African-American President of the United States. I must admit that words cannot express my experiences of this historic day. In spite of the following:

1) Full to capacity Metro parking lots.
2) A pedestrian being struck by a train.
3) Massive lines.
4) Record-breaking crowds.
5) Cement barriers blocking entrances and exits to the Mall.
6) Brutally, cold weather.
7) Disgusting restroom facilities.
8) No liquids.
9) Uncomfortable clothing (5-6 layers).
10) No consistent cellular phone access.

It was worth it!!!! Congratulations, Mr. President Barack Obama! There will be more pictures added, later.

Ba-Rock It!

History was made on November 4, 2008. The first African-American was elected President of the United States. It is just amazing to be alive and present, witnessing such an extraordinary time of events.

I will never forget November 5, 2008. The energy was electrifying and the nation was embracing possibilities and opportunities. Not to mention, walking to the White House, immediately after Obama was named President Elect. Wow! These are moments that will never be forgotten. As a New Yorker, being in D.C., the night Barack Obama became President.....was truly an experience of a lifetime.

In honor of a man with respect for himself, respect for his wife, respect for his children, intellect, edge, style, grace, charisma, honor, confidence, character, charm, passion, divine focus and courage..... I will ROCK IT!

She looks timeless and borderline...DRAMATIC! Well, of course, a darker shadow would need to be applied and then....WOW! Drama!
